Amerifreight's service was fine and they found a shipper very quickly. The actual carrier (CAA Transport) on the other hand was pretty disorganized. I called several times to clarify details and check on things and most times the person on the other end didn't seem to know what was going on. They only gave me 2 hours notice that the truck would be coming for pick up which fortunately wasn't a major challenge. After the guy took my car I got a call from another agent telling that my car would be picked up the following day - not super organized and professional. The driver showed up a day or so early and needed to change the drop off location. Unfortunately, the driver didn't speak English so I ended up talking to his wife which resulted in some miscommunication and eventually to his daughter. This actual company was not helpful during this process. The drive claimed it only took him two days to drive and that he didn't sleep (though in broken English so not sure how literal to take it).
So in conclusion, Amerifreight was fine. CAA Transport got my car across the country quickly though their customer service is not great (and the driver most certainly violated Hours of Service regulations).
