One thing to keep in mind with these companies is that for the most part, they are auto transport brokers, so it may be possible to achieve better rates if you are able to contact individual shipping companies yourself but for most of us, this probably isn't realistic.
Overall they provided great customer service and took the time to explain the why the entire shipping process works because, if you are like me, you may have little to no idea how the process actually works.
In hindsight it would have been helpful to know while searching for quotes that an availability date is not the same as a pickup date. I became a little worried when i hadn't heard from Amerifreight for over a week after my initial availability date but upon contacting Jessica, she was able to ease my concerns and assure me that we were still on track. my initial online quote was
$1100 for transport plus the $250 brokerage fee(this is including the $50 "discount" for writing this review) but the only truck we were able to find was for $1400 so we ended up spending a bit more than we expected.
The shipping company they set me up with was excellent (aurora auto transport from Maine, i believe) the driver was extremely professional and very helpful and flexible with both pickup and delivery. Ultimately my car ended up being picked up early and thus delivered before i had arrived at the vehicles destination. This was not an issue, and the driver was able to accommodate me quite easily.
Overall, it was a great experience.
