I was in a pickle: my precious tidewater blue Honda Fit was stuck 2,000 miles from home after I gave up on a cross-country drive and decided to fly back to New Jersey. What was a girl to do?
I started to investigate the possibility of shipping my car (I've never done this before) and was quickly overwhelmed by the entire process. In order to even get quotes from car shipping companies, I had to enter personal information and then my e-mail inbox and phone were flooded with messages for days on end (they still haven't stopped).
In an attempt to make sense of it all, I started reading ratings on the Better Business Bureau and, after seeing that AmeriFreight had good ratings, I decided to take the plunge. I turned my quote into an order and it was one of the best purchasing decisions I've ever made.
Within 24 hours, they had scheduled a carrier (for two days from my first available date, I was pleased to learn). The carrier came to get the car on time, even jumping it because I had accidentally left the dome light on when I flew home.
The car arrived early (it took only 2 days to get it from Utah to New Jersey!), the carrier was polite and AmeriFreight followed up promptly. For a process that seemed so daunting, AmeriFreight made it easy and took the stress of it all away.
If I ever have to do this again, I know who to call.
