I would not hesitate to use this service again because they did exactly what we paid for - arranged for a safe transport of our car from one state to another. We were informed of costs and contract terms up front and given an opportunity to proceed or not. We were informed as soon as a carrier was available to transport our car and everything went as expected based on the contract. It was easy to contact our AmeriFreight representative with questions and they were answered promptly.
My only frustration with the company is the form email I was sent after delivery which included:
"VERY IMPORTANT: Reviews are my report cards. If I get anything less than 5 stars or rated excellent, it will impact my performance for promotions and job retention severely. It is seldom that things go 100% all the time. I know sometimes there may be small irritations but I trust you will see past that in my overall performance. The MOST IMPORTANT is the final overall rating at the end of the review. Only an excellent rating will result in a 5 star review. Catherine, if you plan to leave anything less than excellent, please contact me first to give me the opportunity to fix where I fell short."
I certainly understand wanting a chance to fix anything that went wrong, and we had no issues, but I really didn't appreciate having guilt tactics used to try to get me to avoid anything short of "excellent" in my review. I can give an excellent review for everything except the email at the end of the process. Next time I'll pay the extra $50 (discount amount for leaving a review) and not leave with that bad taste in my mouth from the guilt tactics.
