We needed a Chevy truck picked up in California and delivered to us in Georgia for a SEMA project. We received a fair quote from Dustin at Amerifreight , he hooked us up with a carrier that was based not too far from us. We had a seven-day pickup window to work with, and a week or so in transit. The car was picked up within that window, and arrived here on time. There was no damage, and it was reasonably clean, considering it was transported on an open truck. There’s something you should keep in mind about all the extensive reviews you will see on this site. We obliged ourselves to write a review of the transaction in the contract, which was fine. By the terms of this contract, we would be penalized $50 if we did not comply. What was not disclosed was that this “review” was to be two hundred words in length. Apparently just writing “car delivered on time and damage free” was insufficient. Be advised that you too will be obliged to spend a good chunk of time writing an overly wordy essay to avoid this penalty. They don’t call it a penalty, to be sure, it’s packaged as an “instant $50 discount” if you agree to write the review, but make no mistake, it’s a penalty if you don’t. In any event, we were satisfied with the transaction, and will use Amerifreight again.
