Having never shipped a car before Graham, and others at Amerifreight, were very relaxed and did a good job in explaining how it worked. After explaining to them that I wanted the car as soon as I could, they advised me on a price that would get the truck picked up quickly. It was a little higher than what I was hoping for, and their online estimate, because the online estimate is the budget price. Basically, no driver will go out of their way to pick up your truck at that price, but if they are in the area they will probably pick it up.

That said, everything went pretty well. Within a day of confirming my order, I had a company to pick up the truck. There was a lot of snow and bad weather when they agreed to pick up the truck so they were a couple days late. I would have preferred they called to tell me that, but I had to call them and figure out what was going on (that is a criticism of the shipping company, not Amerifreight). Within a week of pick up I had my truck in hand. There was a small bit of damage to the truck, but it was never a cosmetic show piece so I was no concerned about it.

All in all, this was a good experience and would not hesitate to use Amerifreight again.
