I recently moved from the west coast to the east coast for work. I needed a prompt, reliable automotive shipper to ensure my car was delivered. My experience has been primarily positive with just a few very minor inconveniences. My car was picked up and shipped within a week with little fuss and no damage. I would use this service again should the need ever be required. I felt that I had to drive more of the communication than I otherwise should have considering the cost being paid for broker services. Additionally, payment to the actual shipper is separate and should have been acceptable in cash based upon the emails received. While in theory this may be true, they would much prefer a cashier's check or money order (which of course will cost you another $5 to $10). Lastly, the savings for providing a review for AmeriFreight is most likely eaten up by the up bid shippers know to tack on when they receive a quote. I'm not saying their bargaining in bad faith but clearly the fix is in.
