Working with AmeriFreight was overall a good experience. I was shipping a car from my grandparents in New York to myself in Arizona. Unfortunately, getting a carrier took longer than expected and almost twice the amount I was originally willing to pay, however, the carriers are the ones' with the pricing power in this industry. We did, however, find a carrier for 1500. They were speedy, except they seemed like they were trying to swindle me. They attempted to have me pay them in cash instead of the money order that was recommended by their supervisor and by Jorge, my AmeriFreight rep. Jorge was a great guy, however, he is almost impossible to get on the phone and never returns a phone call at the scheduled time. Being as busy as we both are, keeping phone appointments should have been much more important to him. Even when I had the issue with the driver, Jorge couldn't be reached and didn't return my call. The company was fine to work with for the most part, unfortunately I am a huge stickler for communication, and that was not one of their strong points. My car was delivered and quickly.
