I am completely new to the world of car shipping. When I started my search, I had no idea how it's done. I was assuming that you call someone and they ship your car whenever you want. This was true to an extent but depends on factors like - availability of the driver and the slot for your car on the truck. When called AmeriFreight, I was explained about the process and it completely made sense to me.

So, I gave all my information to the agent and told him to call me when a driver is available. He called me few days later saying the driver was available. I went ahead and let the driver pick my car up. Actually it was a weekday, he waited until I got off from work and then I handed him my car. He also had let me load some stuff in the trunk (actually, I loaded it with no breathing space). He picked it up on Friday and delivered it on the following Wednesday which was very quick.

All in all, it was a very pleasant experience and would recommend them anytime. As important the agent is, the driver holds the same importance. So, treat him good so that he takes care of your car as his :)
