Bottom Line Up Front: AmeriFreight was able to get my car delivered from Illinois to California successfully without any damage or extreme headache. Jorge was very nice and he was more than willing to help me through every step of the process.
The frustrating part:
I had to pay $355 more and drive 1 hour out of the way to get my car (not "door to door").
AmeriFrieght is merely a "broker" or "middleman" who uses a website (CentralDispatch.com) to list your car transport offer. Once the offer is on the website, the drivers make offers to AmeriFrieght, who then contacts you for final confirmation. The whole gig ends up costing you more than you'd pay if you did it yourself.. but it's nice to have someone constantly working to find a driver who will fulfill your offer as best as possible, and AmeriFrieght did just that!
Oh, by the way... AmeriFrieght does incentivize me to leave a review (I get $$ back!), however, they do not try to incentivize me to leave a positive review... just an honest one. Just thought everyone has the right to know that this is an HONEST review, even though it was coerced.
