In other reviews I read that Amerifreight kept close contact with their customers until the vehicle was delivered. In my case it was not like that. I must say that I didn't have a phone number in which I could be reached, but I asked Graham several times to keep me informed by email, and he didn't. I called regularly to know what was going on, and Graham told me he was working on my order, but it wasn't until a day before the 7 day deadline to pick up the car that Graham told me (when I called him) that I had to almost double the rate to pay to the transportation company in order to get my car shipped. I was very frustrated because I contacted Amerifreight with 2 months of anticipation to the date when I wanted my car delivered, and they waited until the last day to tell me that it wouldn't happen unless I doubled the payment (from the original 585 USD to 1015).
After Graham assigned the transportation company I was left on my own and haven't heard from him since. I had to personally call several times to the transportation company, and to the driver of the truck to know when the car would be picked up and delivered. They were supposed to deliver the car on a Sunday, and none of them answered the phone that day. The car arrived the next day.
I don't know why my experience with Amerifreight was so different to what others report on reviews. I feel that if I had had the numbers of the transportation companies this would have been a lot easier and less stressful. I didn't find Amerifreight's help very useful at all.
