After all I'd read online about shipping cars, I was very anxious about this whole process. I consulted the Better Business Bureau for a recommendation and discovered AmeriFreight. From the very beginning, they were fantastic. There was zero pressure to contract with them, no request for a "down-payment" before a carrier was booked (always a bad sign if this happens!) and they were extremely conscientious with customer service. My car was picked up on day 3 of a 7 day window, after I opted (with no pressure from AmeriFreight) to increase my quote by $200 to help my chances of getting a booking. This probably wasn't necessary...but time was of the essence for me.
The car was delivered 1.5 days later to Utah, dropped off to a neighbor of ours, and in perfect condition in the driveway when I arrived. I was extremely happy with how things went, and with the follow-up phone call I received from AmeriFreight. I would certainly recommend them and will use them again in the future. My total cost was: $1,350, with the carrier receiving a cashier's check for $1,100 and the rest charged by AmeriFreight.
