Used AmeriFreight as broker for this shipment (worked with Jorge as primary contact). Pickup was at a dealer in VA, deliery to So Cal. AmeriFreight booked a carrier the same day I placed my order. Initial quote was very competitive (lower than most), but final pricing was right in line with several other quotes I had received - middle of the pack. AmeriFreight has a tiered pricing system where you can attempt to save some money if you're willing to wait longer for pickup and delivery - however if they get a carrier interested in the order, but at a slightly higher price, AmeriFreight will give you the option to take it. After some intiial uncertainty on the pickup date, the selected carrier did pick up the car about 5 days after my order was placed, and delivery was then very fast - 3 days. No issues upon pickup. The carrier was the primary source of status updates I received; AmeriFreight followed up and confirmed all was on track. Turned out this carrier had a terminal within a few miles of my location, so I chose to pick up my car there rather than have them load it onto another truck and take it the last few miles to me (this saved a day or two of time in getting my car). Successful shipment; would use again.
