Quickly got an option to pick up the truck after listing with Amerifreight. Had a option to get the truck picked up for an extra $150. This was still at the lower end of the quotes I received initially. The actual transporter (JMT trucking) was extremely nice and a pleasure to work with. They don't normally run that route, but where making a run out west as a favor to a friend/customer, and were looking to pick up vehicles or the return. Don't know if the quick option was due to AmeriFreight, or just a coincidence. The $250 commission seems steep, but the truck was picked up about a week after getting the paperwork finished, and was delivered a week and a day later. The total was less than other brokers I spoke with.
