First off let me say that AmeriFreight, and Bob in particular, were not only knowledgeable and worked hard to transport my car but never did they push any sales pitch or try to up-sell any products. I purchased my classic out of state and needed it to be transported, hoping to save a few dollars I went with the economy pricing. While this may work if you have the time, let me tell you, save yourself the hassle, the time and a friend willing to garage your car - go with the preferred or express rates and you will have your car picked up and delivered in no time. While I expected it to take a while to be delivered, I was pleasantly shocked when the carrier called two days early to inform me that they would be delivering the following morning. Everything was as it should be, dirty and grimy (that's ok, it's what you expect on open transport that somehow flew across the country) but I was in for a shock. My car had a window that would not roll up when I bought it. My friend tried to cover up the window for transport but the transport company went above and beyond - they got the window all the way up, secured it and insured that the inside would be properly protected for the long haul. All in all, I couldn't have been more pleased.
