I contacted AmerFreight (and 2 other services for competing quotes) after reading some on-line reviews and they quoted me a price that was slightly below other carriers.
The agent cautioned me that the price may end up being more if they couldn't dispatch it quickly, and that it could take up to 10 days to get at truck. The caution was for naught - a truck was found and dispatched in 1 day, and my non-functioning automobile was transported from Texas to North Carolina in 3 days.
Excellent service all around. I was kept informed the entire time. No regrets, and would use again in a heart-beat.
