This is the first time I have ever written a review in my life, however felt it was important for a couple reasons. First of all I had absolutely NO experience or idea on how to facilitate the transportation/transfer of our vehicle. Secondly, I felt strongly that our experience may be of benefit to someone else who found themselves in the same situation as us.
Naturally, I immediately turned to the internet to begin my search on how to arrange for transporting vehicle and hopefully find a site that provided customer reviews on companies (brokers). Fortunately, this task very easy and fast. I went on to transport reviews and narrowed down the search (past year, 5 star rankings and high number of reviews). From the list, I choose three companies near the top and from the moment I received an email from AMERIFREIGHT (Bob), the entire process was seamless, fast, hassle-free and perfect!
AMERIFREIGHT (Bob) was different from every other person/broker I spoke with. He immediately explained how easy the process was, he was very forthcoming about all related costs, and NEVER pressured us or contacted us, unless we initiated. Once the other companies had our contact information, they emailed and phoned many times each day! Bob provided two quotes (economy & expedited), we choose the basic and received the premium service that was offered with the expedited! Meaning for the lower price, our vehicle was picked up and delivered in the time frame promised in the higher price package.
Bottom line? No money up front. Once we agreed on all the terms, I gave a deposit to the Broker (Amerifreight), then within a day or so, Bob called to tell us a driver picked up the job and we agreed again on price, timeline etc. Then within 15 minutes, Amerifreight/Bob gave us the name and cell number of the driver so we could keep in contact whenever we needed to.
Our situation was little complicated as were no longer in the city where the vehicle needed to be picked up. Both Amerifreight and the transport driver were amazing and accommodating to us. Driver (Nick) waited over four hours for person to bring the vehicle keys and when he delivered vehicle to my son, once again he was so accommodating to my son's situation and schedule. He was not five minutes early or late - right on time to the apartment door!!
The vehicle was in the exact same condition as when we last saw it - perfect!
