Hi my name is Jay and am in the United States Army currently serving a 12 month tour in Afghanistan. I recently bought my new 2008 Lexus LS460 in Illinois while i was deployed and was searching for a good shipping company to ship it all the way to hawaii without me being present in the US. So i asked a few friends who have shipped their vehicles to Hawaii in the past and they both recommended Amerifrieght. The first day i called Amerifrieght I didnt even how to ask ANY questions. As soon as i told them the vehicle i wanted to ship when and where, they provided DETAILED information on how the whole process works, costs, FAQ's, and even some tips for my situation. My contact through amerifreight i guess for the pacific region was Jorge Cruz. He was more than helpful providing excellent advice and service. Especially with me being currently in Afghanistan, he worked with me by sending me emails since i had no way of contact other than email. I also had to have another family member pick up my vehicle since im not in country. Jorge at amerifrieght made everything non hassle and i was worry free. With my love for cars, i had my vehicle shipped enclosed that way it wasnt exposed to the elements. It a little extra money but well worth the investment. I also added the insurance they offer with amerifrieight just as an extra precaution although normally as long as your car is insured it should be fine especially shipping overseas. My car arrived in hawaii at the beggining of the month (dec) in perfect condition like just like it came from the dealer. There was nothing dirty no trash left in the car, nothing stolen, no new scratches that i know of or dents. (if your wondering how i know since im not in country, i had my brother look over the car with the inspection paperwork when they picked up the vehicle) My car was on time as briefed by the amerifreight agent with no issues. I will definatley use the company again inthe future and recommend them to anyone looking to ship the vehicle overseas and even domestically. Two thumbs up 5 star service!! Thanks amerifeght.
