We recently had my daughters car shipped from California to New York due to a new job assignment & I have to admit, I was very skeptical, extremely nervous and totally clueless about the whole process. Our dilema was that my daughter had a flight out of California on 9/10, but needed her car on the days prior so the car HAD to be picked up on the 10th. Her new job is starting on 9/23, so the car HAD to be delivered no later than 9/20. Since we had just decided on 9/4 to have the car shipped, we had less than week to find a company that could guarantee our needs. I got on the internet to research car transport/shipping companies & I was more confused than ever. All of the companies claim to be "the best" so I decided that reading reviews about some of the companies would be the best place to start; that is when I made my choice to call AmeriFreight. I spoke with Bob, who was extremely friendly, helpful and totally understanding to our needs. Bob took the time to explain how the entire process works from what the drivers look for when taking the job, what the different pricing options available were and what to expect from start to finish of the transaction. Due to the fact that we were dealing with such a time crunch, we decided to go with the highest price, but I was guaranteed that once he found a driver to take the transport, that the car would be picked up the date that we specified and would be delivered by the date that we needed it delivered. By the time I hung up the phone, I felt 100% better and was totally confident that I made the right decision in placing the order with Bob at AmeriFreight. A few days went by & I went in to panic mode as we had not yet found a driver. Bob offered to increase the drivers pay by taking a cut in his own portion of the payment that he was to receive. We found a driver and he was great. My daughter's car was picked up on the 10th and on the 18th he called my daughter to say that her car would be delivered the next day,on the 19th..a day early!! The car was delivered 1 day early in 1 piece, with no dents, dings or scratches. Bob & AmeriFreight, you are AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!! If ever the need again arrises, it will be Bob at AmeriFreight! Thank you SO much for everything!!
