Having heard the horror stories about auto transport, I approached this cross-country shipment with some trepidation. After speaking with several companies, I selected AmeriFreight, in particular because of the clear (and comforting) information that Bob Turner provided. Everything with the transfer went well - e-mails and telephone contacts from AmeriFreight were accurate and timely (Bob Turner made the phone calls himself); the driver was accommodating and flexible with both the pickup and delivery arrangements; and the price was virtually the same as the other companies' quotes. It may appear from the information provided in this review that the car was picked up "late," since the first available date was 7 days earlier. However, it should be noted that I was told in advance that this was a probable timeline, so this was not a surprise. Again, the clear communication from AmeriFreight was helpful. If I need auto transport in the future, I'll save time by going directly to AmeriFreight.
