This was the first time I ever had to deal with shipping a car and had no idea what was involved. I received several estimates and, out of them, contacted a few for more information on how the procedure works. Bob was extremely helpful and took the time to explain things to me. His friendliness, along with a reasonable estimate, was what convinced me to go with AmeriFreight.
My son is in the Army and was just assigned to his first duty station at Ft. Bliss, outside of El Paso, TX. We decided that shipping his car was the best bet as no one had the time (or desire) for a 2,000 mile road trip. Bob worked with me through the holidays and we were able to get it shipped shortly after. The trucking company arranged for a Thursday pickup with a Tuesday delivery. When I met the driver for pickup, he told me that he hoped to have the car out there by Sunday and was actually able to deliver it Saturday evening.
The service was excellent, I am happy and my son is happy that he has his car. I will remind my son about AmeriFreight the next time he moves across the country and would recommend them to anyone I know needing a car transported.
