I worked with Graham Turner of AmeriFreight to get my two old cars shipped from CT to NY, about 240 miles. I offered a reasonable price of $1000 per car ($2000 total) for enclosed transport with relatively rigid pick-up and delivery time frame.
The process was smooth and without event. The carrier, Chris from Jo-Rye transport, was careful with my old cars, which required special instructions to start. I was happy with the overall service.
The only part I didn't like is that my file was not closed until I gave this review, which takes much longer than the few minutes AmeriFreight suggested. Also the rebate of 10$ per site/review dilutes the whole process.
But the work was well done.
