I went through a broker that got Ambela, Inc. to ship my car. I never heard of Ambela but when I looked this company up on this site my stomach hit rock bottom. There were way more negative reviews then positive. Then I read one review that was positive and notice that it said Ambela is apart of the BBB. This was good I said to myself and when ahead and checked them out on the BBB website. Their score when I checked it was an A-. The highest you can get was an A. This helped to settle some of my fears but not all of them. However, I decided to put my faith in Ambela just like that positive reviewer did and it worked. Now other people don't like their cars being taken off the truck during transport to me that doesn't matter as long as it's just moving it. Ambela sent a local flat bed truck, which in my opinion is the better idea, to pick up my car in New York and delivery it in California. They then picked up some other cars and went back to their east coast headquarters in Philadelphia and waited for the California truck driver to come which I called about and they told me he would arrive on Monday. I was starting a new Job in Cali and was shipping my car on a tight deadline but I had a few days for cushion. However, my job called and took away that cushion because they needed me sooner and that's when I panic. I spoke with the Cali dispatcher and he told me my car would arrive Thursday or Friday and they would call me Friday or Monday for a delivery. This would have been okay if I didn't have to start work on Monday. So I got the number for the scheduler and spoke with him and he assured me my car would be delivered on Friday. It became night and I got nervous but sure enough the driver called me at 8pm saying he would be at my place within an hour. He sure was and my car arrived without any damage to it. I got a full detail before I shipped my car and it came back to me in the same condition. No dirt just two bird stains which are beyond acceptable for an open transport coast to coast. It took 9 days but it was really 5 days on the road. As far as I'm concerned this company keeps its word. I was able to speak to employees at all times and I was kept up to date on my transport. I'm so glad this company did not live up to the negative reviews I read about on this site. Thanks Ambela for taking care of my car!
