After some initial searches online for reputable company to ship my car from Virginia to Northern California, I stumbled upon www.transportreviews.com. After reading through all of the reviews, I requested a quote from the top 4. I went with Allen Auto Transport for a number of different reasons, but to be honest the price was MUCH better than the other quotes I received. After completing the online order, I was sent an e-mail within 24 hours with the contact information of the trucking company, and the date for pick up. Car was picked up in VA 11/10, and arrived in CA 11/20. Very fast and efficient!
The only issues I had with the whole shipping process is that the truck/driver really can’t make it to your door, but that is certainly understandable given the size of the truck…I only wish the drivers had better information about their pick up locations, and places where they can make safe pick ups and drop offs.
