On March 7, 2010, I placed an online order (#63204-YE) with All State Carriers LLC (ASC) to have my "non-running" 1993 Chevrolet Camaro transported from my residence in CA to my sister's residence in OK. ASC's quoted rate was $695.00. At the time the order was placed, I paid a deposit of $150.00 by credit card. The order was acknowledged via email from ASC confirming my vehicle will be available for pickup on or after March 17, 2010. After numerous follow-up calls since placing the order, more than 30 days had passed without ASC rendering service. Finally, on April 17, 2010, I received a call from a female driver dispatched by Webster Services asking for directions to my residence. During my conversation with the driver, I informed her that the vehicle was not running, and at that point, I was told (by the driver) that she could not pick up a non-running vehicle. The driver stated that another truck would be sent. Nine days went by, and no truck was ever sent to pick up the vehicle. On April 26, 2010, I contacted ASC customer service to report that my vehicle was not picked up as promised. On April 27, I contacted ASC customer service rep Jennifer, who at that time re-posted my order. On May 10, I again contacted ASC to get status, and was told they still could not find a driver, and that my deposit would be refunded.
Then, based on a BBB complaint I filed against All State Carriers for failure to render services as promised on my auto transport order, All State Carriers (Jennifer) contacted me on September 27, 2010, and offered to refund my deposit, which I accepted. Jennifer asked if I wanted a check sent to me, or a reversal on PayPal. I said a reversal on PayPal would suffice, and Jennifer said she would check on the PayPal reversal and call me back the next day, and I have not heard from her since and no form of refund has been received.
