I have never had the need to transport a vehicle until my daughter flew across the country to attend grad school. So, I Googled auto transport and the number of carriers that showed was truly overwhelming. After researching many carriers I selected All State Carriers because of the number of reviews and the extremely high ratio of positive comments.

Day 1 - I contacted Steve Ward who answered all of my questions and calmed my concerns. So, I gave the go ahead to advertise my car. During my research I learned that on average most agencies need 5 to 10 days to find a carrier for pickup and 7 to 10 days for a coast to coast transport.

Day 2 - I received a call from Jennifer Maser, who told me they have a carrier for my car. She gave me detailed information about the carrier company, Chips Transport, and the process involved. She informed me that the car should be picked up within 2 days of 10/01/2010 and delivered within 2 days of 10/12/2010. I agreed to this, so Jennifer emailed me documentation with all of the information she had just verbally given me.
George, from Chips transport called me to arrange a time for pickup. He was flexible and willing to work with my schedule.

Day 3 - George and I met for the loading of the car. George is a man of few words, not rude by any means, but is obviously very thorough and serious about his business. He explained to me that the car would stay on the truck until it arrived in Boston, Mass. Then off loaded and put on a smaller carrier to be transported to it ultimate destination in Maine. I appreciated that as I would have told my daughter to expect the large truck.

I called Jennifer several time during the transport with questions, She was always helpful, cheerful, and never made me feel as though I was a bother.

Day 10 - I received a call from Chips Transport Boston office. They told me the car would be delivered the following day and wanted to verify my daughters phone number to make arrangements with her.
I called my daughter shortly after speaking with Chips, and she told me they had already called and made arrangements.

Day 11 - The car is delivered in the same condition as when in was loaded, very good condition by the way, as George commented.

I do recommend All State Carriers and their affiliate, Chips Transport, to all.
