I contacted All Day Auto Transport on Feb 24, 2011 to arrange the shipment of my 535I BMW from Sarasota, FL to Connecticut. I was given a price of $ 475.00 including a broker fee of $ 150.00. I was told that they would need a credit card for the deposit of $ 150.00 that would only be charged after there was a driver and the car was loaded. On Feb. 28th, I noticed that my credit card was charged on Feb 24, for the $ 150.00 for the deposit, but I had not been contacted and my car was not dispatched or loaded. I called them and they said that they had a driver, ran the card and that the driver cancelled twenty minutes after they got the call. Today is March 3rd and they have not refunded the $ 150.00 and my car was not dispatched. They did call and said they had a driver, but that he wanted more money than the quoted rate. I refused. I think they just quoted me a low rate, knowing that it wouldnt ship for that just to get the deposit. Other companies dont charge the deposit until the car is dispatched and on its way. All Day said they charge the deposit upfront and its not there fault that they cant complete the contract for that price. They only want to refund $ 60.00 of the $ 150.00 for a service they knew that they could not provide at the price of $ 475.00. I would not recommend them in away shape or form. The dealer who I bought the car from arranged for another broker who they use and the car was picked up and on its was the same day.
