I was not going to write a review, but reading reviews is what helps select a transporter and I wanted others to have that tool available.
I will base my review according to what is asked in the survey.
To begin this is for the transport of a 1960 2 dr. Impala from Al. to Ca. i gave all the specifications to insure an accurate quote, althoug I realize that it could change. Original quote was $1,100. After almost 3 weeks the rep. calls and gives me a price of $1,400, which was then lowered to $1,350. A 20-25% difference from the original quote. Acceptable??? Not to me. this was the only offer to me in 3 weeks. I was patient to wait on him, but as soon as I declined that price he cancels my order almost immediately.

1. Honesty. The rep. originally stated that he has ample experience and that the transport of this type of vehicle would not be a problem. After almost 3 weekes he then states that in his experience no one will take the vehicle for less than $1350. So which is it? I feel he was not honest. I do not feel he has experience in dealing with older model vehicles or project cars.

2. Knowledgable. Again, I do not feel he has experience in dealing with older model vehicles or project cars.

3. Hold time/promptness. I rated it poor because if it wasn't for me asking through e mail the status of the transport I wouldn't have heard back until 3 weeks after I contracted the company, only to get a much higher quote and then get cancelled.

4. Overall customer service. Poor. Because of lack of communication, for not trying to get another price for me and for giving up and cancelling my order.

FOR THE RECORD. THE SAME DAY THE REP. CANCELLED MY ORDER I CALLED ANOTHER COMPANY, GOT A QUOTE FOR $1250 AND THEY ARE PICKING UP THE VEHICLE RIGHT NOW, ONLY 1 DAY AFTER I CONTRACTED THEM. CHEAPER AND FASTER.

So in the end everything worked out. I'm sure the rep. is nice guy. Maybe they had to many orders and didn't want to hassle with mine. Whatever the cause I will not do business with them in the future.
