Very Positive Experience

When I first contacted All American Transport, Mike responded quickly with a very resonable quote to have my son's truck shipped from LA to Austin TX. I had several questions that Mike answered very promptly either by email or phone. We had a tentative pick up date of January 31st but two days before there was a change in my sons schedule where the drop off destination was changed from Texas to Michigan. Mike was able to secure the same pick up date (different carrier) which was great since my son already had his flight scheduled. My son had no trouble contacting the driver. The driver contacted him the day before with a pick up window of three hours and also called him when he was within 30 minutes of the pick up location.

The driver did the same for the drop off as well with a three hour window plus a phone call when he was within 30 minutes of our home.

All in all, we had a very pleasant experience even with the change in the drop off destination. Everything worked out great. My son will be moving to Austin TX in a few months and we will definitely be using All American Transport again and hopefully will be able to deal with Mike as well.

I have just one bit of advice for anyone who is transporting a car/truck from a warm climate to a cold climate. We found out the hard way that in warm climates they typically do not use the 50/50 ratio of water to antifreeze but will use more water. When my sons truck was delivered it ran fine for about 30 minutes then quit. Found out that the water froze throughout the system. The fix was easy as it just needed to be flushed out and new antifreeze added which cost around $200. I hope this info helps anyone transporting from warm to cold.

Once again, I can't say enough about how easy and painfree this experence was due to All American Transportation and Mike, especially.
