After another company was unable to find a shipper for my car, I contacted All American Auto Transport and spoke to Kurt. The order was confirmed on Jun 10 and my car was picked up, at my home, on Jun 16. I contacted actual transport company (Jay Phillips Transport Services, Largo, FL) who indicated the vehicle would arrive in Dallas around Jun 22. It arrived the evening of Jun 20 in good condition. The drivers called the day before to tell my wife their ETA then again when they got into Dallas with a more accurate ETA.
Be aware that All American Auto Transport is not a door-to-door delivery service. My wife was required to meet the car carrier at a nearby hotel parking lot to pick up the car. The drivers are prohibited, due to liability issues, from driving the cars except to load and unload (in Dallas they can't drive the transporter into residential neighborhoods). In California, the car was picked up by a subcontractor and driven to another city where it was loaded onto the transport vehicle.
It took longer than usual to find a transporter due to the quickly escalating fuel prices. Kurt icreased his bid price (no additional cost to me) in order to get a transporter.
