A MONTH LONG NIGHTMARE

I contracted w/ All America Auto Transport (aaat) to transport my car from Furlong PA to Costa Mesa CA. I was given assurances by Stephen myers that my car would be picked up Friday Aug.5th which included a 125.00 expidite fee. The car was picked up by a local carrier on the 9th and dropped at a contracted carrier (not an aaat truck) in Maryland. I have continually called aaat and they wouldn't tell me where my car was(so much fo national computerized tracking) This evasive tactic has continued for 23 days. By chance the trucker called me today 8/31/05 to let me know my car is still in Maryland and that because his son quit after taking my car to Atlanta then back to Maryland due to a disagreement that he would try to find another carrier to transport my car. I am going to fly to Maryland and drive the car back as I don't want to wait another 22 days. Just in case someone reads this after their nightmare with this company I would like to provide the complaint number for consumer affairs in MD and also the FMCSA dot and docket number which will give you all current insurance information on these ripoff artists. Unfortunately Stephen Myers no longer works here, so it's hard for us to determine how things went down hill for this customer and their shipment. We can assuredly say that we no longer employ Stephen Myers and strive to meet or exceed our customers expectations. You should notice this trend in more current shipments that our customers has commented on. AAAT Staff
