Believe it or not, we received the car last night, around 11pm. Its battery was dead, but no fault of yours. Ernie scrounged around for jumper cables at my request and he and my husband worked together quite well! He was also kind and gracious. My only problem was in the beginning. On the bill of lading I filled in "pick up no earlier than 1/25/07". So my very elderly father and his lady friend were taken by surprise and not happy. I do understand, however, that Ernie had to pick it up when he could, especially due to the weather.
Be that as it may, all's well that ends well. And it all ended early and quite pleasantly. You guys could not have been more efficient. Thank you for delivering the car in good shape and, if you could, please tell Ernie that my husband and I have "named" the car Ernesto...in honor of him!
