agape means love in greek, but i felt no love for my service. don't be fooled.

my car was supposed to be picked up 7/16 which was fine. the carrier called and asked if they could pick up the night before. i had to confirm with my wife before so i told them i would call back. i got the confirmation and called the carrier and left three messages in the span of 3 hours, they never called back.

they came to pick up the car on 7/16 on flat bed. fine.

i was told the car would be delivered by estimated 7/23. and that i would get about 6 hours prior to delivery. never got any call. called agape and they told me to call the carrier. now why do i have to track this down myself, agape is the broker, i should deal with them only right?

i talked to the carrier directly, and even talked to the owner. he said it would be delivered by 7/24 5 pm at the LATEST. and that i would get a call from the driver about 2 pm. again, never got the call. i called the carrier and agape and no one answered.

i got contacted on 7/26 from the driver that he will be delivering the car today. my understanding was that this was door-to-door service. not really. he parked his truck a mile away from my apartment and was not willing to come any closer. good thing at least i had a rental car that day.

my car towline was practically ripped off. it looked like someone had jumped on it. it was not damaged when they picked up the car. now it is. so i took pictures and sent it to carrier and agape and neither of them will claim responsibility.

oh agape claims they have insurance to cover the damage to cars, read the fine line if you can find it. they answered my claim on my damage that the insurance does not cover anything under the car.

overall bad bad bad service. i would never do business with agape- they should change their name to be respectful to its true meaning of the word.

First, we would like to take this opportunity to apologize to Mr. Lee for the unacceptable poor customer service he experienced here at Agape Auto Transport. We take customer service very serious and will accept nothing less than exceptional service provided to our customers. And you are right that Agape is the greek word for Gods perfect, unconditional love. Unfortunately, as people, we are not always perfect. According to our records, we did assist Mr. Lee in contacting the carrier for him. However, the carrier did not communicate with Mr. Lee as well as he should have and this is not ok with us. We do clearly explain to all customers, verbally and in writing, that the service is door to door unless the driver needs to meet the customer at a nearby location due to narrow streets, restrictions, low hanging trees, etc. The driver needs to be able to make the best decision for the safety of the vehicles on his trailer. We do have a certificate of insurance on file for this carrier. We always provide this information to the customers, upon request, in the event of unfortunate damage. It is not up to us to determine fault, but the insurance adjusters. We never claim to have additional insurance. The carriers that do the physical transport of the vehicles will have the insurance to cover any damages due to the negligence or fault of the driver. Again, we are very sorry for your experience with Agape and we sure Mr. Lee that this will be corrected and will not happen in the future. We wish you the very best in everything.
