First, we would like to take this opportunity to apologize to Mr. Lee for the unacceptable poor customer service he experienced here at Agape Auto Transport. We take customer service very serious and will accept nothing less than exceptional service provided to our customers. And you are right that Agape is the greek word for Gods perfect, unconditional love. Unfortunately, as people, we are not always perfect.
According to our records, we did assist Mr. Lee in contacting the carrier for him. However, the carrier did not communicate with Mr. Lee as well as he should have and this is not ok with us.
We do clearly explain to all customers, verbally and in writing, that the service is door to door unless the driver needs to meet the customer at a nearby location due to narrow streets, restrictions, low hanging trees, etc. The driver needs to be able to make the best decision for the safety of the vehicles on his trailer.
We do have a certificate of insurance on file for this carrier. We always provide this information to the customers, upon request, in the event of unfortunate damage. It is not up to us to determine fault, but the insurance adjusters. We never claim to have additional insurance. The carriers that do the physical transport of the vehicles will have the insurance to cover any damages due to the negligence or fault of the driver.
Again, we are very sorry for your experience with Agape and we sure Mr. Lee that this will be corrected and will not happen in the future. We wish you the very best in everything.
