I recently purchased a Chevrolet Avalanche through a dealer on line. This was my first time to try and do this. One of my concerns was that the dealership was over 1200 miles away. I live in Texas and the dealership is in Ohio. How was I going to get delivery? How much was that going to add to the price of the truck? How long would it be before I would actually have the truck at my house? I researched several companies through Transporter Review. I received quotes from many companies both by e-mail and by phone. The quotes ranged from 650 to over 1000. Some companies warned not to use the cheaper quotes because they would get your deposit and then your vehicle would sit for weeks because the drivers would take the higher paying loads first. I want to tell you that was NOT the case for me. I decided to use Agape Auto because they had a good rating and they were one of the cheapest quotes at 650. I was pretty nervous this being my first experience. Let me tell you everything went perfect. I bought the Avalanche on Tuesday Nov. 25th. I called Agape that night. I told Christy that hopefully the paper work would be through by the end of the week and the truck would be available the next week. We had a little trouble getting all the papers signed and delivered because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
However, on Monday the driver for Agape called the dealership to say that he was not going to be able to pick up my truck until Tuesday. I was not expecting it to be that fast! This worked out great. We got all the paper work done Monday. He picked up my truck on Tuesday and it was in my driveway on Thursday! That included a breakdown where he had to get a different trailer brought to him on the road! Wow!! Other than a little road grime the Avalanche looked GREAT! Just because a company is cheaper does NOT mean they are bad!! I would gladly use them again if needed and would recommend them to anyone.
