Mr. Gene Wise, Sally's husband, placed his order with us on May 22nd. And yes, it took 12 days to get a carrier assigned. We explained to him that it could take up to 10 days to get a confirmed pick up date for him. He called us on May 27th and said he needs this vehicle picked up very quickly because his daughter was leaving school on May 31st. We explained we could contact our carriers and see what it would take to get his vehicle picked up before all the others waiting to be picked up. In the meantime, we asked him to look into finding someone who could release the car to the driver if we could not get it picked up before his daughter left. ***Mr. Wise never told us when he placed the order that this was a time sensitive situation.***
On May 30th, we called Mr. Wise and told him we had a carrier that could pickup his vehicle on June 3rd for an increased amount. He was given the option to go with this carrier or to wait for another available carrier at his original quoted price. He opted to go with this carrier and was willing to pay the extra amount. AT NO TIME WERE MR. & MRS. WISE TOLD THAT ALL PRICES HAVE GONE UP $150 ACROSS THE BOARD. This is not true. Their situation was special, because they requested we speed up the process.
We are sorry that the Wise's did not understand the situation as explained; but we are happy to hear that they were satisfied with their driver.
