We booked a shipment in February to transport exhibit goods across country. The initial shipment delivery was time sensitive for an exhibit. The shipment was not delivered on time, freight center was not available, and we had to beg borrow and plead with the actual shipper to get the shipment delivered on a Saturday. When the shipment did arrive one of our crates was destroyed. This was the positive part of our shipment.

After the damage to our shipping crates we had to create and reconfigure our shipment home. This means we had less crates. Thirty days after the shipment was complete we received an additional bill for $1900 due to over weight. From the time we received the bill we disputed the amount. Freight Center did nothing to resolve the situation. We spoke with them on at least four occasions and again nothing was done. The amount moved to a collection agency, the agency for the first time was able to provide the original document from YRC for the weight. However, it became clear that Freight Center had never contact YRC about the problem. For six months the situation has sat because of Freight Center's lack of action. Now that we have the actual document from YRC and have contacted them ourselves, they also agree there are problems with the paperwork that deserves a second look. Currently, Freight Center has refused to help in the situation and have threatened to sue over the amount in dispute. YRC has now agreed to look into the cituation.

BEWARE! Freight Center has now told us that we have to pay them the entire amount and recover the amount YRC finds in our favor from YRC.
