Lies, and more lies

Its apparent who these 5-star givers are (either they were paid off by the company, or they are actual employees). Never, have I been lied to so many times in a day. For starters, I go online to get a quote for shipping my car. Once submitted, I started getting various quotes from companies. I had a deadline of 27 days to get my car up to NY, and figured nearly a month would be PLENTY of time, right? Apparently not. I went ahead and booked a reservation with a different company, and for $100 extra they CONFIRMED my delivery date range.

After, a rep from Advance Logistics sent me an email saying he "had one extra spot on a truck and could give me a 15% discount on top of the automatically generated quote from the Advance Logistics email." I call him back, he agrees to drop the price $40, and I continued on in saying I had already reserved through someone else. I told him the name of the company, and he persuaded me in believing I should cancel because they were brokers and "Advance Logistics owns their own trucks, so the lead time is always faster through them." I call after 7 days to check up on my car because they said it would DEFINITELY get there bet 7-10, even though they are not allowed to say guarantee. They have no idea what I'm talking about! After I begin to get upset, the old lady who answered says it's out of their hands once I send the contract back... and proceeds by giving me the name of the truck company. Wait a minute... I thought they didn't outsource like other companies??? That's the reason I canceled! First lie I caught...

I proceed and call th shipping company (PNK Carriers 661-360-9111), and they were actually honest and treated me closer to a human being than any of the jerks at advance logistics. Granted, they didn't tell me what I wanted to hear, at least they told me I was lied to by the BROKER, and my car would DEFINITELY not be there within 10 business days (even after it had already been 7 days so far). The owner of the company even went of to fax me what they send to brokers, and it stated that a cross-county trip should be quoted by a minimum of 14 business days, not 7 to 10 as was on my contract. They even confirmed there was NO delay, but simply that was how long they quoted the broker.

After calling them back to see what they could do about this, I was told that I must be "too dumb to read the contract," otherwise I would have seen that it said "approximately," meaning if it were to take a month, like it did, then technically they didn't lie. What?!?!?! After I told him they lied to me about everything possible and I wanted a supervisor, he told me I was wasting his time and hung up on me.

I sent an email, but that was no help because the same jerk as when I called the (888#) replied saying "too bad I don't know how to read," and he "doesn't care what the rep told me on the phone because the second I signed it no longer matters what he initially told me."

I do not know how they can say they have "only one spot left" on the truck owned by them, say it will DEFINITELY arrive within 10 business days, then treat you like trash because you point out that 18 business days is more like a month, not "approximately 7-10 business days."

The worse part, I told them that I was very stressed about this because I had a few things in the back that I needed by my deadline, otherwise it would cost me thousands. The Andy guy's response was simply "you are not allowed to put anything in the car, so I will make sure to charge you extra before your car will be released to you." This was after I told him I was going to complain to the BBB.

Please, from one consumer to another, don't fall for it!
