I contacted Able Auto to transport my car from Dallas, TX, to Fremont, CA. The person on the phone was very nice and I was assured that it would be door-to-door service. I was a given a quote that was much higher than others, but I chose to go with Able because of all the good reviews. On the day of the pickup, the driver called my friend in Dallas and asked her to bring the car to nearby Walmart to be loaded on the truck. My friend had to drive the car to Walmart and call her husband from work to pick her up at the last minute. Then I was informed by the driver that he will not be bringing the car to my house in Fremont. Instead I should meet him in another city of Milpitas to get the car. When I complained to Able about this misrepresentation, the agent agreed that this should not have happened and said she would talk to the owners and get me some compensation. After several weeks I was told that the driver is not compensating them so they cannot do anything.

Forget the door-to-door service, my car was not even delivered to my city. I had to get a friend to drive me to another city to pick up my car that was supposed to be delivered to my house.
