HAD TO INITIATE ALL CALLS AND EMAILS.........................
THIS IS WITHOUT DOUBT THE WORST AUTO TRANSPORT BUSINESS THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH

YOU SHOULD AT ALL COSTS STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE
THE TRACTOR RIG CARRYING THE TRAILER WAS IN A CRASH,
SUBSEQUENTLY SO WAS MY CAR ON THE TRAILER.

That tells me that the load was NOT secure and that the driver
was poor with little or no experience.
I don't see how a company can run their business like this and still stay in business.
I intend to file a complaint with the company that insures their loads and their business

YOU REALLY ARE AN IDIOT IF YOU USE ABBY AUTO TRANSPORT
BUT HEY HELP YOURSELF IF YOU WANT ALL THE AGGRAVATION ?

Mr. Potter came to Abby Auto Transport after another company he was using to try and move the vehicle was unsuccessful. Upon his phone call to us we started working on scheduling a truck as soon as possible. A truck was secured for the transport within a couple of days after his first phone call. When the truck was scheduled for pick up an email was sent out and a phone call made to let Mr. Potter know what the schedule was for his transport. His vehicle was loaded on 8/20 with a delivery scheduled for 8/24. Within 50 miles of his vehicle being picked up the driver was in and accident that was not his fault. The accident was caused by another motorist running into the Carrier on the highway. Yes Mr. Potters vehicle sustained $1500.00 in damage. But Yes the driver was injured and in the Hospital for 4 days. We tried contacting the driver for several days after the pick up with no sucess to get a status update for Mr. Potter. We were unsucessful in reaching the driver during that time because he was injured and in the hospital. When we were able to speak to the driver ( 4 days after pick up) he was alive and recovering. The police and insurance company had the truck and trailer retained until a full report would be filled. Also the insurance company that covers the vehicles on the truck would not release Mr. Potters vehicle to another Carrier (which we already had scheduled and ready) until the police report was finished and they could clear the vehicle of its damage. During this time we stayed in constant communication with Mr. Potter. Yes it was a bad situation and Yes all of our hands were tied. We did absolutely everything we could do in this unfortunate situation. Mr. Potter was upset, we completley understand that. His review as shown is his uncontrolled lashing out for blame in a circumstance that was out of anyones control. The driver was not at fault in anyway. His load was secure for transport. It was not nor would anyone ever be secure for the type of accident he was involved in ( again not his fault ). Again we communicated with Mr. Potter daily, he was well aware of all the facts as we were made aware of them. Abby Auto Transport moves over 200 vehicles per month, over 98% of which move without any problems at all. We are very sorry for the situation that occured with Mr. Potter's vehicle shipment and we hope this response will help to explain this difficult circumstance.
