Scam! Never use this company!

I should have known better from the start. They gave me the lowest quote online, and I didn't know how this business works, so I hired them to move my car. They required payment up front (which I now know is a sign of trouble) and would only accept a check (another sign of a scam). The day for pickup came and went, but the company never called me with an update. I called them several times, but they very rudely told me that there were no updates.

This went on for weeks. I finally cancelled the contract. It took me about a week to get anyone at the office to acknowledge that they received the cancellation, but no one would confirm that I would be getting a refund. I called twice a day for several days, trying to reach their "refunds person" who was never available. I finally spoke to a manager named Robert who is the rudest, and possibly the craziest, person that I have ever had to deal with on the phone. He was very loud and defensive when I was asking for my money back. I explained that I am active duty military, with an upcoming deployment, and that I needed to move my car as soon as possible. He acted like I was harassing HIM!!! I told him that he'd be hearing from someone other than me, and he flew off the handle, screaming in the phone that NOBODY threatens him, and asking if I was in the mob. He ended by telling me never to call his business again and hanging up on me.

In short, they took my money and never even tried to move my car.

I'm still trying to get my money back. I have contacted the BBB, and will be speaking with the police and a lawyer this week. Don't make the same mistake as me! Don't support this horrible, fraudulent "business"!!!!
