Mixed Feelings...

I used AFT Logistics based on many positive reviews from this site and others. The first thing that I will say is that my car was picked up 1 day after the first available date and delivered in a reasonable time (15 days coast to coast... AFT contracted out to US Auto Transport as the carrier). With that said, I am happy with the service. The big problem that I had with the company was communication, or lack of it. I found it very difficult to get in contact with them at times and several items did not receive call backs when I left messages. I found this a little frustrating. I was assured by my contact that my car would be placed on the carrier and not taken off until it arrived at its desitination. This however, was not the case. My car was picked up by a sub-contractor, sent to a terminal, and then placed on the truck. I was a little apprehensive about this because I have read so many bad things when this happened. When I called AFT and asked them about this, I never received a call back. Again, everything turned out right, but I was hoping for a little better communication with the company. I would probably use them again.

Hi Mr. Shuster, Again, we are happy that your transport went as planned. Due to the DOT restrictions in your area, we had no other alternative but to send the smaller truck to get the vehicle to load onto the big truck. It was not a terminal, but a transfer from one trailer to the other. Also, the communication problem has been solved. We added three more lines and you should not have a communication issue any further. Thank you for the kind review and I look forward to working with you again. Andrew
