Upon my move from California to Indiana, I enlisted All American Transport to ship my 2008 Toyota Rav 4. They entrusted my car to ABM Auto Transport for the move. My Toyota Rav 4 was delivered by ABM to me in a reasonably timely manner (about 5 days) but with a missing (definately stolen- I could see the finger prints on the glass) spare tire cover- and ABM completely failed to handle my claim in a responsible, respectful, and professional way. When I called them, Anna (one of the proprietors) initially told me to purchase a replacement and send them the bill; but when she heard how expensive it was she refused to pay for the cover!! I called them and faxed them the information they initially asked for several times (over a two month period). The first few times Anna's husband Greg told me that they would 'get to it' the next week; but each time I would wait for several weeks- and nothing! After while, Greg would refer me to Anna, and Anna would never pickup or return my calls. I tried to get the original company that I paid to ship the car (All American Transport) to help my claim get setlled with ABM, and they were ultimately useless- except for the fact that they apparently got ABM to send me a very suspect picture of a RAV 4 on one of their trucks with a missing spare tire cover. This picture was supposed to be proof that the tire was already missing when they got the car; but it's terribly weak evidence. There's absolutely no proof that it's my Rav 4: the license plate was conveniently blocked in the shot, and it's taken from a considerable distance. I'm not going to explicitly say that they used all of the time they took to respond to my claim to get a picture of a random RAV 4 with a missing spare tire cover. However, I will say that I am extremely dissatisfied with my business with this company, not necessarily because they didn't return to me my car in the condition in which I gave it to them, but ultimately because they failed to handle the entire matter in a respectful, professional way. Their business manners betray a serious lack of concern for customer satisfaction and may indicate other additional flaws. I would never recommend this company to any friend or enemy.
