When I approached this project, i had no idea of how things were done. I had no experience in shipping an automobile. When I was educated by Randy and others, and when he steered me to some locations where I would do research on my own, I ended up felling like an expert on the subject. We had great and current communications throughout this entire event. Weather was a major issue with this delivery, in that my location, and the pick up location were both overcome with tremendous ice and snow. I called Randy and asked him to delay the shipping for one week, and he was helpful in doing so, posting it for another date to pick up.
While we both worked to delay the pickup and delivery, Randy never once mentioned his need to go ahead and charge me his fees prior to the shipping process, which I felt he could have done based upon the work that he had already completed, and then redone for me. There was absolutely no aggressiveness or pressure in his dealings with me, only a friendly and helpful attitude.
In order to enhance the pick up of the unit when we were finally ready to accept delivery, I APPROACHED HIM about increassing my costs, so that we could quickly further things along. He advised me as to what rate I might want to increase our offering, and the order was accepted by a carrier right away.
Regarding the carrier that Randy selected, this man Art, of ArtDon Logistics, could not have been any nicer or more friendly. My car arrived in the condition that it was shipped, I was notified by the driver, in advance, when he would arrive, and he was true to his word. We inspected the car together, concluded that it matched the original inspection sheet, and then accepted payment from me. I was grateful that he even offered, and I accepted, a written receipt. Everything about this experience was possitive. I will gladly do business with Randy in the future, and will advice all whom I know, needing such a service, to do the same. I am grateful for all of his help !!! And by the way, I am not being paid for this review. I offer this as a sign of respect for a true proffessional!! Please use Randy and his company for all of your future shipping needs.
