Since I was transporting my car for the first time I was unaware of this process. Dave was very helpful in sending me an email explaining the process and warning me about unrealistic promises that tons of companies in this business make. Sure enough, when I called some other transportation companies I did find that they were all keen on getting a deposit from me way before the car was picked up and some of them just didn't sound honest. When asked, some of these companies even told me that the were going to use consolidation terminal points. Dave required no deposit of me. He needed a credit card number to hold the older but charged my card only after the car had been picked up - as promised. AAAll States Auto Transport did a good job of screening the driver (Alan from Royal Deustch Transportation). The car was picked up and delivered on time in good condition. No terminal consolidation points were used. The same driver picked up and deliver the car. Dave patiently answered all my questions and promptly returned my call when I had left messages. Overall, this was a very good experience. I found AAAll States Auto Transport to be an honest outfit.
