I did some on line research before I picked Aaall States Auto (out of Schaller IA). Everything went fine and the price was reasonable based on the quotes I got. I went with good reviews and reputaion over price any avoided the temptation to try save as much as $150 when I saw the many unhappy customers with some of the cheaper companies I got offers from. Bottom line - all these companies sub contract out to the actual truckers and it seems, based on my reaserch, that a lowball price will not get you a relaible pickup. At best, it may work out OK if you are convenient to a truck in time and place who has maybe a last spot on the truck and will take you rather than lose time or run part empty. I also got prices for several hundred more so I felt like i got a decent price. Anyway, the pickup was well with in my alotted window of time, actually within 24 hrs. I was shipping a 2002 Ford taurus to my daughter and it had a few minor dings and scratches you might expect from a 9 year old car. The driver went over it with an eagle eye, noting things even I had never noticed, even though I had just washed and waxed it myself. I had to sign off on his findings. Thought it was a bit much, but then I can understand him not wanting to be held liable for preexisting damage. The only minor problem we had was that he could not get to my house due to local town truck restrictions and large trees. He called me and we met about a mile away in a Lowes parking lot on a main blvd. This could have been a bit of a problem had my wife not been there to drive me home. Suggest you make sure about access to the pickup & drop off point. I had not realized about the truck restriction, but in any case the large trees along the street would have also been a problem due to possible damage to cars already on the top level of the truck from the lower hanging limbs. My daughter got the car on time with no damage and was very happy. Overall very good experience and happy with Aaall States Auto Transport service. (FYI.
