Honest and On Time - Can't Ask for More!

This was my first time using an auto transporter and I must have received quotes from over 20 companies. I was impressed with AAA Transporters from the beginning because even though their quote wasn't the lowest, AAA was confident that others' prices were, in fact, "teaser rates," and that they would not pan out. AAA didn't waver on their price, didn't engage in high-pressure sales tactics, spoke about the fact that their price was guaranteed and that they have an excellent reputation that they won't put at risk for a $75 price reduction.

Lo and behold, in fact the lower quotes did turn out to be "teaser rates" that were unobtainable when my bid was put out to the drivers, so we went with AAA. I appreciate a company that is not willing to compromise the quality of its services and its reputation. And, indeed, the transport was seamless from start to finish. In fact, it was more than seamless. I was having a car transported from a dealership to my home, located on a cul-de-sac. I understood it would be impossible for the car transport to make it into the cul-de-sac, and we arranged to meet at a nearby intersection. When it turned out the truck couldn't make it within a mile of my home the driver unloaded the vehicle and drove it the final 1.2 miles right to my front door. Now, that's service! The car arrived with little more than a bit of road dust and a drip or two of oil after traveling cross-country... one stop at the car wash later and it was back to new.

One note for first-time users of these companies: Be a bit proactive. I was told the driver would call me "within 24 hours of delivery;" I was a bit anxious and called myself to check on the status of my delivery and, boy, I'm glad I did. When I called the truck was already in my state and they likely wouldn't have called me until the truck was an hour away. These drivers are used to delivering/picking up to and from dealerships, who always have a salesman at the ready. Your schedule may not be as flexible, so keep in touch with your trucker.
