AAA, Inc. or AAA Anytime, Inc. or whatever name they do business as this week is not a company that can be trusted to perform under their agreements. Their agreements are merely a starting point for them to deceive the customer and, when they do not perform their obligations under their agreement signed with a customer, they claim they are entitled to a $79 fee for doing paperwork.
We attempted to ship a car and very important personal items from California to a serviceman in Oklahoma. We had talked to several so-called representatives of the company about the need for timeliness as this serviceman was being transferred to another state soon. We were told the car would be picked up within a certain timeline and delivered by a certain time. These timelines changed with every phone call. However, after numerous delays that took over three weeks, the car had not been picked up and the delivery to the serviceman was then impossible for AAA, Inc. or any other company. We kept getting excuses from the company, told that the salesperson did not handle accounts after sold to the customer and that the owner was the only person who could resolve problems. This appears to be a pattern as we found out from the many complaints against this company.
We cancelled the agreement and had to drive the car to Oklahoma which cost our family many thousands of dollars due to loss of time, expenses to deliver the car, loss of business and airfare, etc. We found this company has been sued, fined and is on probation of sorts with The Federal Trade Commission.
The company will not refund $79 of our payment to them. Even though they would not perform this money is called a processing fee. For processing what, our money into their bank account.
I am reporting this company to the FTC, the Better Business Bureau and others who have had numerous complaints for similar (or worse) complaints from outraged customers.
Save yourself a lot of grief. Stay away from this company!
