Car still hasnt shown up

The pick up was late and the driver never called, despite personally arranging the pick up with him. The driver was over 6 hours late and basically shot the whole day down.

The car has still not arrived and will be over 5 days late. Since we are traveling for the holidays, we expected to use the car to drive to relatives and had to make other arrangements to make our holiday plans happen.

I'm assuming the car will show up in a couple of days...

Basically, the car move will happen, and I'm hoping there is no damage to the car, but the basic reliability of pickup and delivery times is completely random and not to be counted on.

The cost in lost time, waiting, and having to completely rearrange our holiday travel plans due to the inability of the transporter to meet and keep deadlines is and expense that arguably exceeds the cost of shipping. For those in need of reliability, I'm not sure any of the shippers is any better than any other.

I just hope my car shows up.
