Charged money without service

A1A called early in the morning after I had posted an inquiry on a general car-transport website. I thought it was a different company with which I had had already some positive email exchange, and thus agreed to give them my credit card number. Within minutes of putting down the phone I realized my mistake and called them back to cancel. Woman on the phone refused to cancel, after a long and heated debate she said o.k. to cancel, but then did not take A1A's bid off the LA website for the truck drivers, so that no other broker could get the job. I had to call them back and threaten with lawyer to get their bid off the LA site. Then when I looked at my credit card statement a few weeks later, I saw they had charged my credit card with $175 and never refunded it. I had to get my credit card company involved to dispute the charges and get the money back.
