I discovered this thread too late! I had already sent in my $250 via check by phone. After reading all your posts, though, I called Chase and they've reversed the fees and disputed the claim for me, even though the check cleared last week! I would encourage all of you who were victims of A1 to try your banks. The women who I spoke with said it isn't normal policy, and that this was an exception, but it's worth a shot calling, right?

I hope these guys get caught, and no one else suffers from their trickery.
